Buena Park Neighbors' next General Membership Meeting will be on Monday, August 13th at 7PM at Imperial Towers~ 4250 N. Marine Drive Ave.
We will discuss our upcoming events and other issues as they relate to the neighborhood. Guest speaker TBA. Look forward to seeing everyone! Concerts in Buena Circle Park

Your neighborhood block club, Buena Park Neighbors (BPN) is pleased to announce the first of two free concerts in the Buena Circle Park. Buena Park neighbors and their families will come together under the starts to listen to blues performed by the Reunion Blues Band. The first free concert takes place on Thursday, June 28th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Buena Circle Park is located at the intersection of North Kenmore Ave. and West Buena Ave. (1000 block West and 4200 block North). The Reunion Blues Band concert is sponsored by Karen Ayers of State Farm Insurance (773)728-2900 and Mark Zipperer, Broker/Owner - RE/MAX Edge (773)435-1601. The Buena Circle Park concert series is organized by BPN in conjunction with the Chicago Park District. All neighbors and families are welcome. BPN is still seeking sponsorship for the second concert in the Buena Circle Park scheduled for Thursday, August 9th. In the continuing tradition of the Buena Park Neighbors during this holiday season, please join your neighbors for holiday cocktails and good cheer.
Holiday Club, 4000 N. Sheridan Road Thursday, December 14, 2006 7PM - 9PM In the spirit of the season, we have adopted 2 Buena Park families and are asking for your help to make their holiday wishes come true. Please check the BPN Adopt a Family Website for their holiday lists if you're interested in donating an item to our collection. Please either bring an unwrapped item from their list or to save you from the additional hustle and bustle of the season, the committee will do the shopping for you! Donations that are collected will also go towards purchasing Jewel, ComEd, and People’s Gas gift certificates for a holiday meal or other necessities. Monitored Halloween Trick-or-Treating on Kenmore 10/31/06
Buena Park Neighbors is pleased to announce the Ninth Annual Buena Pumpkin Neighbors. Monitored Halloween Trick-or-Treating will take place in Buena Park on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 from 6PM to 8PM on Kenmore Avenue between Irving Park Road (4000 N.) and Montrose Avenue (4400 N.) and expanded to include the 1000 block of West Buena. If you are a building/home within the aforementioned boundaries and are planning on decorating your building and handing out candy, please contact Ellen at elf13@rcn.com. Additionally, if you have any interest in being a safety monitor that evening, please contact Ellen as well. During the event, actors from National Pastime Theater (4139 N. Broadway) will "haunt" the Buena Circle Playlot. Members of the Buena Park Neighbors (BPN) block club and the 23rd District Chicago Police Department officers will be on hand to help direct parents and children to the participating residences. Parents are invited to bring their children out on Halloween for the renaissance of neighborhood trick-or-treating on Kenmore in historic Buena Park, and are reminded to accompany their children at all times. BPN Clean and Green Day Rescheduled to June 35/12/2006
Due to the harsh weather, and safety conditions forecast for May 13th, The Buena Park Neighbors are postponing their Clean and Green Day till Saturday, June 3rd. Please join us then at 10:00 am at the corner of Belle Plaine and broadway on the North side of Michael's. Supplies except for work gloves will be provided. Drinks too! Thank you!

BPN Block Party--Volunteers Needed
Buena Park Neighbors is looking for volunteers to help with the 2006 Buena Park Block Party. Please join us on Monday, May 15th at 7:15 p.m. at the Urban Tea Lounge, 838 W. Montrose Ave. to help plan for our annual event in September.
Buena Bunnies--A Huge Success!
BPN’s fifth annual Buena Bunnies project was a hopping success thanks to: Bunny Judge Nick Novich, Nicks Uptown Bar Manager extraordinaire Frank, a large group of neighbor bunnies, The Day School and Chase Bank. 71 gorgeous Easter baskets were given to St. Mary of the Lake church for distribution to Buena Park neighborhood families! Mary Timmons was this years Best Buena Bunnies Basket winner!
